From a Martigues Junior Title to Nice

Mayron Baudino's career started in Martigues, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, where as a teenager he won his first national title: the 2018 French Junior Triplette Championship in Caen, representing a Bouches-du-Rhône departmental team alongside Ludovic Santiago and Jacques Dubois. They beat a Hautes-Pyrénées trio of Dylan Jandras, Loïc Maresse and Lucas Perez 13-4 in the final. He has since moved north along the Côte d'Azur to C.A.S.E. Nice, the Alpes-Maritimes club that has also been home to Ludovic Montoro and, until 2025, Mickaël Bonetto.

European Espoirs Champion, 2022

Baudino's first international title came four years later, at the 2022 European Espoirs (under-23) Championship in Palma de Mallorca. Playing alongside Adrien Delahaye, Flavien Sauvage and Samuel Lamare, France's men's triplette beat Italy 13-9 in the final - a result that marked Baudino, then 21, as one of the standout prospects of his generation heading into the following season.

Mondial La Marseillaise, 2023

Baudino's breakout result came at the Mondial La Marseillaise à Pétanque in July 2023, the world's largest pétanque tournament. Playing as shooter alongside Mickaël Bonetto and David Riviera, he helped the trio reach the final of the 62nd edition with a Fanny (13-0) semifinal shutout of the Albaladejo triplette. In the final on the honor court at Marseille's Parc Borély, they beat Armand Sanvers, Jean Feltain and Moïse Helfrick 13-9 over twelve rounds, in a match that lasted an hour and twenty minutes and swung decisively in the middle rounds after Baudino's side trailed 1-7. Later that month, Baudino also reached the semifinal of the 56th French Individual (tête-à-tête) Championship in Auxerre, beating G. Mailhe 13-2 in the quarterfinal before losing 12-13 to L. Dumont in the last four - and played for France's Espoirs (under-23) squad at the 2023 Masters de Pétanque in Cluses, where his team, featuring Adrien Delahaye, Flavien Sauvage and Benoît Monros, lost the final 13-1 to a Dylan Rocher-led triplette also featuring Diego Rizzi, Stéphane Robineau and Jean Feltain.

French Vice-Champion, 2024

Baudino returned to the French Championship final in 2024, again playing with Mickaël Bonetto, this time alongside Ludovic Montoro. The triplette lost the men's triplette final 13-5 to a Gers team of Frédéric Cazes, Gérard Delom and Pierre Benoni, played 22-23 June 2024 at the Boulodrome du Douaisis in Douai.

2025: Topping the PPF Circuit, But No National Call-Up

By 2025, Sportmag was describing Baudino as the most consistent player on the PPF (Passion Pétanque Française) circuit, with tournament wins at Valréas and Île-Rousse and final appearances at Espalion and Saint-Tropez, enough to top the year's PPF rankings and earn top billing heading into the circuit's season-ending Grande Finale. Despite that form, he was left off France's trimmed, seven-player Collectif France squad announced for 2026 - a squad ultimately made up of Dylan Rocher, Henri Lacroix, Jean Feltain, Mickaël Bonetto, Christophe Sarrio, Ludovic Montoro and Yohan Cousin. Baudino was not alone in missing out: Ligan Doerr and Stéphane Robineau were also left off the list, with no specific reason given by the federation beyond narrowing a strong pool of candidates.

At the March 2026 PPF Grande Finale, Baudino played with Pierre Maurel and Adrien Delahaye, beating a Madagascar team in the quarterfinal before falling in the semifinal.
