Pétanque in Haiti has an organized governing history stretching back to 2009, when a new Federation Haitienne de Petanque was established in Port-au-Prince and joined the Fédération Internationale de Pétanque et Jeu Provençal (FIPJP) - a development driven by Jean-Edouard Nelson, who had ambitious plans for growing the sport domestically at the time. Haiti was not found among the nations contesting the Pan American qualifying tournaments documented on this site - the eight-nation Panamericano de Petancas Limache 2023 in Chile and the ten-nation Panamericano Clasificatorio de Petancas Iquique 2025, also in Chile - and no other international petanque results for a Haitian national team were found via available sources.
Haiti also fielded a delegation at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo (24 July - 8 August 2026, hosted by the Dominican Republic), competing in boxing, judo, cycling, and taekwondo among other disciplines - but pétanque/bochas was not among that event's roughly 40 contested sports at all.
